The realization I had in the supermarket last night — I don’t want dessert tonight — was a bigger moment than I thought it was standing there in the bakery. It was the moment I got my motivation back (at least for now). It’s Saturday and the first thing I did when I woke up was put on my workout gear and head out for a run, not because I had to but because it’s just what I do. No bigs. High five, self.
We are having company for dinner tomorrow and there will be pasta and cake. The last few days I’ve felt kind of nervous about it because I wasn’t sure if I could bounce back from another big eat day. But right now, I feel like I’ve got this.
It’s on, bitches.
C25k (week 3 DONE!!), walking, housework
10am: 3 eggs w/ splash whole milk, 2 slices bacon, 2 slices walnut sourdough toast, 1 1/2 cups coffee with splash milk
2:30pm: leftover mac and cheese, salad (lettuce, balsamic vinaigrette)
9pm: 2 baked chicken thighs (with skin), roasted brussels sprouts/ sweet potato with olive oil
